Yorktown – York, ME

Yorktown

An infusion of much-needed affordable housing is underway in York, following the Planning Board’s approval of a 163-unit apartment building. With project costs estimated at $20.8 million, Opechee Construction Corp. (Belmont, NH) serves as the general contractor, while JHR (Marblehead, MA) leads the development alongside Beals Associates, the Boston-based engineering firm.

Our team completed the Yorktown Main project in the summer of 2023, delivering a comprehensive scope of exterior envelope work. This included the installation of all windows and the full application of Benjamin Obdyke AVB across the building. We also carried out the James Hardie trimming work and provided the complete cladding package.

The cladding scope featured lap siding and beaded board, giving the building a clean, timeless aesthetic.

In total, the project covered more than 230 squares of siding and was successfully completed in under four months.
The result is a modern, efficient, and visually appealing residential development that brings significant value to the York community.
